The Alliance Of Papists, Immigrant Filth And The Moral Degenerates.

It's the Day's Day of Days! Because did that really happen?

As we stare as Muir's politics start going to the actual Know-Nothing playbook, the question comes up--what the hell does Sam do as council chair aside be awful? Does Gunpowder County fulfill its federal and state mandates or are those ignored in the midst of all this 'freeman of the land' bullshit? Is Sam, for example, disallowing food stamps and welfare because 'gubmint bad' and 'good folk don't need handouts'?

Because as I've noted before, this county should be going broke from the lawsuits all her bullshit should be unleashing, and if they aren't doing what the state and federal governments tell them to... well, that's just more fuel to the fire.

  1. And once again, she would legally not be able to "ban Democrats from office." This is all taking place in Fantasyland...

  2. And then there's what, to me, is always the most transparently Mary Sue aspect to all these fantasies of Muir's---all his heroes' foes are always a bunch of confused, clueless, bumbling bozos who are like "Gawrsh, yuh mean sumbuddy's standin' UP to us? Gee, we never thotta THAT happin'in! What'll we do now? Guess we just gotta stand aroun' with goofy looks on our faces 'cause Uh shore can't think a' nuthin' else!" The classic that always comes back to me is the sequence that began here.

You have all the hallmarks---Schumer and Pelosi being the clueless, befuddled "Swamp" creatures who just can't fathom why Real Americans hate them, being confused and outwitted by the wit and wisdom of Trump and waitress Sam, topped off at the finish with a sizzling pile of red hot misogyny that's really stark even by Muir standards.
Trump's line "This is great!" has stuck with me for nearly six years. It kind of represents everything Muir believes about the world. He thinks that he and his ilk are in on some great colossal plan, and that he perfectly understands the machinations of his enemies and can therefore laugh at them when their evil plans are foiled.
In reality, this is a man making a very public fool of himself over and over again.

    1. As I've noted before, Muir's "baddies" exist only to make the protagonists look good, and they have to bend over backwards to achieve that.
