I'm reminded of the early days of Muir's admitting that Dubya had blown some calls. Which has lead to the present state of Muir more or less pretending he never really supported him.

DeleteYou are correct that it's small potatoes...but it's also the perfect encapsulation of the fact that this is a comic strip about politics by someone who doesn't understand--and doesn't want to understand--the basics of governing. As also evidenced by Sam's constant sleeping on her "job."
