True Patriotism Is Calling For A Fascist Uprising To Install A Dictatorship!

It's the Day's Day of Days! Because Dengeki Sentai Changeman.

Astounding how the percentage of people Muir views as acceptable keeps sliding down. All as he grows more and more convinced that he is part of the natural ruling class based on nothing but his own swollen self-regard.

  1. Also, another example from the peanut gallery of how we all live on different planets:

About Harris/Walz: "I’m getting the vibe that even the dimmest Dims grok that there’s no way this can even pretend to be a credible ticket (except to kindergarteners on LSD, perhaps)."

Um, what? I volunteer for the local Dems, including recently at our County Fair, and I haven't seen this much excitement and enthusiasm for a ticket in a long time. At the Fair, we were selling out of our Kamala buttons, and the office staff kept having to bring more. Literally nobody I've talked to thinks that this is not a credible ticket. As is so often the case, "I'm getting the vibe" is just this guy's random bellyfeels and grounded entirely in just his own emotions.

    1. And also on that same planet, they absolutely cannot let go of their fantasies about "Big Mike":

JTC: "I believe this plays into my years-old suspicion, that Mike backed by Zero, will make the appearance as planned, and these two milquetoast pods will just fade away when directed to do so."

Their obsession with her has, I think, just about surpassed the morbidity of their decades-long obsession with Hillary Clinton.
The sheer degree to which they think everything is a conspiracy and everyone is either a stooge or a puppeteer is dizzying. To live in their world must, again, be psychologically exhausting.

Also, it continues to be amazing the way they love to reference culture created by people who would absolutely despise them and everything they stand for.

Heltau: "We will probably be in or ending WWIII and the history of the earth after that will be the cartoon of 'Wizards', ( 1977 )."

Ralph Bakshi would hate this crowd with every fiber of his vulgar little soul. The fuck outta here.

    2. I feel that way every time they reference Firefly (no, you are NOT Browncoats, fuck off) and, of course, the occasional painful comparisons to Calvin & Hobbes, probably just intended to make me scratch my own eyes out.

Here's the thing I don't get about the Michelle Obama conspiracy: if she wanted to be President (which it doesn't look like she does, and who can blame her) she could just...run. And probably win. One of the few things these people get right is that she is indeed very popular. Why would she need this elaborate plot of hiding behind a Biden campaign, or Harris campaign, or any other candidate? I don't see the point of it--except if your existence revolves around everything being a super complicated, shadowy conspiracy.

      As you say...so exhausting.
