"So... So Much Winning!"

It's the Day's Day of Days!  Because little dog.

Meanwhile, in the real word, Trump continues to circle the wagons while the Republicans passed a partially handwritten tax bill in the Senate, because Tax cuts good, and ignore the fact that everyone who isn't either a heartless billionaire or a dedicated Kool-aid drinker hates it.

  1. Muir has the uncanny ability to lampoon things that are only happening in his imagination---this is not the internal conversation going on inside Democratic circles right now--- while at the same time managing to somehow not notice that what's happening in real life is the complete inverse of everything he thinks is happening.

In more recent times, Muir seems to have completely abandoned any interest in actual policy. Or at least I haven't noticed it. So I am genuinely curious what he would have to say about the tax bill. Because for someone who is feverishly paranoid about being sexually violated by "the elites" who "like to tell us peons how to live our lives", he seems remarkably unconcerned about the actual elites who are squeezing people like him (and us) dry.

No, seriously, it's jarring. How does he reconcile his conception of who and what "the elitists" are with his bizarrely misplaced trust in Donald Trump?

  2. He was declaring victory in Iraq throughout the entire Dubya administration.

    Enough said.

  3. Indeed, the victory was painted as the natural, inevitable progression of events.

I'm not sure its real-life failure to materialize has ever been admitted since.
