"Hey, Remember When We Were All Pro-War?"

It's the Day's Day of Days!  Because ding ding ding.

It says something that the thing that switched Muir from 'warmonger' to 'isolationist' is a desire to kill brown-skinned people closer to home.

    1. It's not like it's the first time Muir has done an about-face on a subject while remaining oblivious to it.

For me, the notable thing is how Muir has transitioned from unquestioning neocon interventionism to equally unquestioning paleocon isolationism with no apparent stopping points in between. The Far Right has two equally awful options on foreign policy and they are somehow exact opposites of each other.

  2. Well put. It's bipolarity at the flick of a switch.

(And it's not alike ANY of the Iraq cheerleaders will ever apologize to those who spent the mid-2000s screaming into the wind that it was going to be a disaster.)
