Muir's rewriting of reality is developing a somewhat frantic tone--the Democrats are always obviously crooks. Trump was innocent, and shut up, don't bother him with your facts. As I said, the fact that the cavalry isn't coming, and indeed, doesn't even exist is starting to dawn on him, but Muir is doing his best to keep the truth buried in his subconscious.
