This really isn't a comic strip. It's a lengthy rant with crappy artwork. Hell, it says something that any of the main cast could be saying this to any of the designated worshipful youth. It is that devoid of any personality beyond Muir's.

ReplyDeleteThe things he just internalizes as true --- they never stop amazing me. Like how it's just common everyday knowledge in right-wing land that US support for Ukraine is nothing but a Biden money-laundering operation. It's not even just the crazy Muir/Peanut Gallery types that believe this --- "ordinary" conservatives breezily treat it as no-brainer fact.
But the whole "emptying Venezuelan prisons into the US" thing --- where does that even come from? I know Trump's always saying stuff like that, but he doesn't have an original thought in his head. He got it from somewhere.
And who -- WHO has been talking about resettling Gazans in the US? The only people I see talking about it are paranoid lunatics like the DBD readers. (Who, naturally, are incapable of seeing Gazans as anything but "muzzies" who are better dead than alive.)
The idea of the "alphabet agencies stockpiling billions of rounds" SHOULD be something that a particularly mordant satirist of the paranoid style in politics would come up with. Instead, it's something these cuckoo birds talked themselves into believing is an actual thing.
