A Genius Plan

It's the Day's Day of Days! Because clock strikes 12.

As we stare at the latest edition of "the Compound easily bests its foes with a terrible plan that shouldn't work", I suppose I should mention the riffle-beetle is aquatic, so good luck keeping it alive in Texas prairie.

  1. Doesn't matter what the facts are about it! It's some commie insect the gov't wants to protect, anyway ;)

    1. I mean, it's clear that originally Muir meant that Zed tacitly threatened the Feds to stop the project, but then shifted to this as part of his eternal backstep.

  2. What in the hell is going on with Sam's anatomy in the last panel?? Suddenly her hips have the proportions of a super-exaggerated archetype like the mom in Dexter's Laboratory. Spontaneous instant elephantiasis in the hips is not a thing.
It is astonishing how even with the heavy use of photos, both for reference and outright tracing, Muir is somehow managing to get not only worse but aggressively, sometimes grotesquely so.

    1. I believe this is what happens when you objectify women to the point where it turns into caricature. Sam has to have giant curves, even when it doesn't make sense!
