 It's the Day's Day of Days! Because those evil-natured robots, they're programmed to destroy us.

The level of failure here is fascinating. First, Muir moves on from the awful, but at least dramatically effective first strip to this lengthy screed which does the great sin of explaining "the joke", in tedious detail. Secondly, of course, "the joke" is the equivalent of a KKK cross-burning, and the explanation is a hypocritical racist, homophobic, misogynistic, fascistic rant. And thirdly, just as yesterday, Muir writes his "villains" as utter morons to try and make his heroes look good and makes them transparent straw men, while making his heroes look like swaggering cowardly bullies.

Because they're fascists, written by a fascist, and being a cowardly bully is what a fascist thinks is courage.
