And now Muir is gloating about... a perceived foreign policy failure that is not only based on his misunderstanding of politics but involves him gloating about the US being shown up by states he claims to hate.

His resemblance to the kind of leftist who can praise any dictator, so long as they hate America, is actually kind of amusing.
