    Muir is at least consistent in one sense --- he wants the US to stay out of both Ukraine AND Israel. That opinion is, I think, still somewhat novel on the right.

    The Peanut Gallery is in rare form today. Their genocidal bloodthirst is even more egregious than it usually is. And so many learned, educated experts on Islam. It's like being back in the good times of 2003.

      The opinion is less original than you think. It's the old paleocon isolationist take, which had a great deal of antisemitism baked in. It's also popular with the neofascists Muir has fallen in with as he's shifted from a guy who is very close to a fascist to a guy who is a fascist.

      Oh, definitely. But the old paleocon isolationism usually takes a backseat whenever it comes to AIPAC and its influence. Muir's isolationism seems to be consistent enough to ignore this "obligatory" exception.
