You know as we watch Muir demonstrate his misinformation fail cycle in action, I once again am left wondering just what he thinks is happening in Ukraine. I know that he's decided that deserting a nation fighting against an invasion by a de facto fascist would-be conqueror in such a way as to damage the US's international standing is both righteous and clever. But he also seems to think he knows the real story of what's happening there, and yet I can't find any definite indication of what it is.
As he's had his characters declare several times, it is an article of faith on the right that the entire reason Biden is aiding Ukraine is to protect his and Hunter's corrupt interests there, and all the military aid is actually a massive money-laundering operation.
ReplyDeleteOn a related note, I can't remember if Marjorie Greene has publicly voiced these specific claims or not, but I will say that she seems to have a particular hatred for Zelenskyy that seems weirdly, viscerally personal. The same as her hatred for Biden. I don't know if anyone else gets that vibe from her, but I sure do. It just seems weirdly personal.
Oh, I know they think it's all about money-laundering. But I still don't understand what Muir imagines is happening in the actual war. Does he think it's all fake? Does he think Putin is handily winning and always has been? What?
DeleteYep, you've raised that point before --- what does he actually think is HAPPENING there? Damned if anyone could tell from what he writes. I actually wonder if his mind even goes to that specific place. Like he's so busy focusing on the eevullls of Biden, the Uniparty, Zelenskyy and their eevulll schemes, it never occurs to him to wonder just what happens within the borders of Ukraine on a daily basis.

What makes it fascinating is usually you get at least a hint from Muir at what the Gnostic reality that he has been informed of in his wisdom. Not this time. America's funding of Ukraine is a fraud, but there's no hint as to what he thinks is actually happening there.

I mention this for no particular reason whatsoever.
(BTW, my curiosity is piqued as to what being "1/2 black" has to do with being an "insane oshithead". This gentleman must have a lot of insight.)
