Only A Nazi Would Oppose Ethnic Cleansing!

It's the Day's Day of Days! Because Arthur Lee.

Muir's absolute faith that it's self-demonstrating that his foes are Nazis even as he spouts racist, fascist gibberish remains a thing.

  1. I guess at least they're saying the quiet part out loud, and admitting that they want to drive the trains to the camps?

    1. Fascists will always insist that the only reason they're planning genocide and murder is because otherwise, their strong-weak opponents will do the same to them.

And then go on to insist that their plans to do this shows how they're superior. Because consistency? That's a chump's game!

  2. "Repeatedly, blues scream that they want us on the last train out...to the camps".

Muir and his audience absolutely believe this is true. I don't know what they read or what they look at that has led them to believe this is happening, but believe it they do.

The projection is incredible enough on its own. But a whole other layer of insanity is added when the right observes us RESPONDING to their overt thirst for violence by smugly declaring that WE'RE projecting OUR bloodlust onto THEM. Muir has done exactly this several times.
It's a bit similar to the dynamic where people talking ABOUT racism makes them "the real racists".

I sometimes skim lefty forums that I consider toxic and needlessly, unhelpfully incendiary. In this regard, the MOST I ever see is people putting on a tough-guy act and saying "Bring it on. Fuck around and find out, motherfuckers". They're talking about being ready and eager to fight BACK against a possible explosion of right-wing violence. I have not ever seen them salivating at the chance to attack THEM first.

Let alone any talk about freaking concentration camps.

I don't agree with people like Amanda Marcotte who posit that the vast majority of this shit it disingenuous trolling by people who don't actually believe the stuff they're saying. Sure, there absolutely is a ton of that, but I think this overlooks how many true believers there really are.
Muir and his readers are true believers. No question.

    1. Agreed. And yes, the camps talk has me baffled as well. Have never heard that from anyone on the left.
