Only Satan Would Oppose Bigotry, Racism, And Fucking Up The Planet!

It's the Day's Day of Days! Because Dream Smith.

There's not much original in this incoherent screed, just the usual blend of conspiracy bullshit and self-righteousness. So I'm going to focus on the fact that there's a decent chance the latest attempt at a spinoff-storyline died in about a month. At the very least, it doesn't suggest much for its robustness in that's how long it took for Muir to start skipping installments.

  1. I hate it when I break my self-imposed rule about refusing to google anything Muir presents in passing as fact, but I did this time, and of course I get no results with "Democrats praising Satan". If YOU know what on earth he was referring to, lay it on me, because I sure don't.

As we were saying the other day regarding "virtue-signalling", it takes a truly palpable form of demented insularity to unironically regard "DEI" as a grave, civilization-rocking threat. Fictional AOC's line is hilarious, but not for the reasons Muir thinks. It would easily be mistaken for a satire of people like him.

There's a very sloppy writing mistake here. Satan -- who is apparently really Jo the shapeshifter in disguise -- refers to herself in the third person while dressing down Congress. It's obviously done that way to delay the reveal of who it is that's speaking, but in the context of the situation it makes no sense for her to speak that way.

Speaking of which, there's also no particular reason for "Satan" to be a hot naked chick. In the context of some other comic, it could be funny for Satan's form to turn out to be that, but here it's just..... well, several adjectives would work.

  2. According to Muir, Girlredux got moved to its own separate website. Maybe the intermittent installments were confusing the audience too much, maybe it's just an excuse to take a break from it.

So the spinoff is supposed to start again in a few weeks on www.girlredux.com. Don't know how much you wanna hold your breath for that to happen.

    1. So he's using the same idea he used for the first spinoff that sputtered off and collapsed, and the proposed second spinoff that the present one is based on, which never actually got off the ground. While taking a break from the work after only a few weeks.

Clearly, this is a good sign.
