And Then Everybody Clapped.

It's the Day's Day of Days! Because wheat.

The way Muir keeps assuming that his pathetic wannabe breakaway republic will immediately get all the winning is... well, very Late Era DbD.

Along with Sam going full Howler Monkey Face when she acts like an asshat.

  1. Okay, I'm sorry --- am I misinterpreting, or is fictional Blinken actually demanding a cut?

And if he is, demanding a cut of...what, exactly? What's the profiteering? What's the enterprise? All that's been mentioned is the mere existence of four finance ministers and two billionaires. What would this "cut" be coming from, exactly? Just flat-out demanding that the two billionaires give him some of their cash? What?

This is almost as stupid as that time Muir described the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau as a "Democratic slush fund". I will never forget that one. It made absolutely no sense.

    1. He says "cut into"--allowed to attend.

Mind you, it's a weird, awkward phrasing.
