This is the strip now. Endless bragging about imaginary power, and endless declaring of everyone but the most Right Wing of nutters as either a traitor or a heretic, while Muir imagines cozying up to foreign dictators, and proclaims this the truest values of the nation.

This crowd is absolutely obsessed with this kind of imagery. Morbidly, ceaselessly so.
If they are not imagining gruesome violence on those they hate, they are filtering their worldview through a hypersexualized lens that deals heavily in perceived male humiliation.
This imagery is constantly on their minds, and it's never far from the surface, if it's below it at all.
What that means, I don't know. But one can certainly engage in speculation of the low-hanging fruit variety.
