And Don't Get Her Going About The Fringe On The Flag...

It's the Day's Day of Days! Because Kamen Rider Hibiki.

It sure has been a thing, watching Muir go full sovereign citizen, and spouting ever increasing amounts of their pseudohistory.

  1. Few things embody how suffocatingly insular DBD has become than putting in a likeness of one of the readers --- which I only know from reading the damned comments --- and somehow expecting the joke to stand on its own as a self-contained thing.
I mean for goodness sake, I was squinting at that guy trying to figure out if it was supposed to be freaking Wolf Blitzer.

I will never understand these right-wingers' overwhelming obsession with, and boiling outrage over, federally owned land. It doesn't make sense to me. Why do they want to release this land back to the states, when all the Republican governors are going to do is sell a lot of it off to the highest fossil fuel bidder? I just don't get it. Especially since a lot of these guys are outdoorsy types, all about hunting and fishing and all that jazz. I don't understand it at all.

    1. EDIT: Brodder lays out a thorough list of how he feels federal lands should be sold off and handled by state governments. Okay, but is he really so naive as to think it won't end up being a massive free-for-all among developers and industrialists who could not possibly care less about preserving nature?

    2. Part of it is the obsession that the Gubmint just can't do anything right. But Muir, as I've noted, has gone full sovereign citizen these days so he sees these issues through a haze of pseudohistory that turns all of this into the deeds of illegitimate usurpers that have replaced the real government.
