There's always something so depressing when Muir references these comic greats he imagines as heroes when his work is a mass of hackery they'd all decry if they could see it.
Especially Walt Kelly, whose politics were well into what Muir would label 'leftist commufascist' territory.
I KNOW. He does this kind of thing all the time, with comics, movies, writers, etc. It's so bizarre.
