As Muir goes full Nazi without even realizing that, yes, this is full Nazi, you have to acknowledge how hard he's finding it to work in Xir these days. They've lost too many times and too pathetically to sustain a plot anymore, while lacking any ability to even theoretically threaten the cast. By any reasonable measure, they should have left the fascist ministate years ago. Doubtless working them into Stock Sitting Soros Cabal is an effort to remedy that, but it runs into the problem that the Cabal only exists to explain how Democrats are decadent and corrupt. It doesn't exist to do anything.
