When I first read this, I was surprised at what appears at first glance to be an indication that Muir actually exposed himself to primary source material.
ReplyDeleteBut then I realized he probably got these excerpted quotes from right-wing sources and never saw the actual statements themselves. I'd be very surprised if he had.
