I'm Pretty Sure This Is Illegal.

It's the Day's Day of Days! Because feathers.

Remember they're for traditional values.

  1. Yeah, this just cements it for me...time for at least a short break. This is just...disgusting. Of course, it doesn't help that I still think of the girls as underage (because really, they are)

  2. And I'm gonna emphasize it again because it can't be emphasize enough---Muir held down the fast-forward button through their childhood and adolescence, because he couldn't wait to write stuff like this.
The reason? Because he quite literally cannot write any other way about women. (He once could, long ago, but that seems to have dried up along with his general sanity.)

So let's step back and assess exactly what we have, here. We have a mother of two who once had prestigious corporate employment as an engineer, who eventually found another life regularly dancing topless at the bar owned by her husband.
(Far be it from me to slut-shame, but this transition was not exactly a believably organic one.)
And then you have her two daughters, who as we speak are energetically devoted to the task of running a charity car wash dressed in skimpy, translucent attire, sans skivvies of any kind, and not bothering to watch out for potential wardrobe malfunctions, no matter how egregious.

    Because....fuck the feds? I dunno.

    1. Yeah, I remember back when Muir would at least try to give his female characters personalities (basic though they were), not just naked boobs and screeching monkey faces.

And I don't think there is any slut shaming going on here. It's one thing to shame women for enjoying sex...but in this case, the women in the comic don't choose to enjoy their sexuality...it's their one and only pre-ordained role in life to take off their clothes to please the men. It's oppressive and stupid, and I'm fine with shaming that all day long.
