Stay Classy, Muir.

It's the Day's Day of Days! Because the tide is high.

A double-dose of awfulness, first in the gaslighting mixed with crazy that has become Muir's standard pose on the issues of the day, and then of course stating that the victim of a right wing attack has to be... you know what I mean?

Because that's how the fash roll. They just want eternal validation that their cruelty and their bigotry is righteous, and their supposed love of their nation is just a love of themselves, so they'll cheerfully backstab their country if the other side has shiny jackboots.

  1. The panel-one pronouncements get more and more brazenly insane. Can he truly, sincerely believe these things he writes? He apparently does, and that's terrifying.

    1. Muir follows the classic fash pattern of believing things intensely when he sees it as to his advantage to, and then just forgetting about it when he doesn't. It's how he can do about faces while never showing any signs of self-examination or acknowledgement. Because Muir doesn't think that he has to believe things because they're true, he thinks things have to be true because he believes them.
